A is for Abstinence

" It may have been four years, Kyle, but that doesn ’ t mean I don ’ t emember how you operate. "

I snatched her hand as she reached to open he door to the studio. I wasn ’ t ready to end this moment alone with her. " You don ’ t hink I ’ ve learned a few things since then? "

She smirked and shook her head. " New tricks. Same dog. "

It was difficul not to ake her words as a challenge. I brough her back until she was pinned against the door and leaned in close enough that our breaths mingled. Her eyes snapped wide the same ay they always had whenever I ’ d invaded her personal space, and I watched, satisfied, as she sucked in a lung full of air and held it.

" hat mentality will be your downfall this time around, Val. " I leaned in, letting my lips linger at her jawline for a moment too long before bringing them to her ar. " Same old tricks, " I whispered. " New man. "

With thi, I kissed her cheek and breezed past her into the studio, leaving her flustered and in need of another moment to collect herself all over again.

Best selling YA romance author Kelly Oram takes her first dive into new adult romance with this heartfelt and hilarious stor of a rockstar and a virgin.

Rockstar to the core, Six-time Grammy Award-winning musician Kyle Hamilton has it all—money, fame, talent, good looks, and th job he hate. His only regret in life: walking away from a certain notorious virgin because he was too prideful, stubborn, and no afraid to ge her the only thing she asked of him—his abstinence.

Four years and a broken heart later, Kyle think that sex isn ’ t sure, and he suddenly can ’ t stop thinking about the woma that got away. Virgin Val Jensen got under his skin like no one anywher ever has. He wasn ’ t ready for her then, but things are different now. He ’ s grown up, he ’ s learned a few things, and he ’ s finally figured out exactly what he knows, or, eve, who he ants.

Kyle Hamilton wants a do-over, and that time he ’ s illing to do—or not do—whatever it takes.

Note from the author: Another is for Abstinence is the fourth and final installment in the V is for Virgin series. While V is for Virgin was a young adult ook, A is for Abstinence is a new adult romance and was intended for a more mature audience. Not only is th story told from context of a notorious bad boy, the characters have grown from the second ook and are older now. he memoi was penne with a more mature audience in mind. It 's still PG-13 ( I do n't write graphic sex scenes) but it 's becaus as clean as my YA romance. Please keep that in mind if you 're a sensitive reader or thinking about passing it to your teenage daughters.

Val was still there ( bad) but we did n't have to remembe to her inner monologues about how awesome, pure and good she 's!

( Awesome!) So yeah, Kyle 's mind is much better.

Presentl, I 'll be mean but I wish she slept with him before the marriage: D ( hide spoiler) ]

I hate idiotic characters. But why on God 's green earth did I writ a book?!

I did n't like Kyle very much on irst ook.

And there is nothing sexier than a mature man.In this book, Kyle has taken up the Abstinence Challenge ( and take note that I used capital letter to start those words.) It was ot easy for him, hat was much pretty obvious, and he was very onest about that with Val. I love it that he believe it was real hardship having a wife and not having sex with her because it was, be honest folks, it 's eally hard and I 'm ot just talking about wasted erection and blue balls here. Also, to those who went super duper fangirl with Kyle 's first song to Valerie, do n't wan people.

So I guess Kyle was a neutral character for me back hen, but now after I finished reading his novel, he ’ s become one of book boyfriends thatI love.

Seriously, I didn ’ t know him to be sweet and thoughtful yet still an arrogant himself like the old Kyle.

his is preque to V is for Virgin novel of Kelly Oram and I 'm just happy that she made a follow-up because the ending to that first boo was no way satisfying and it was such a cliffhanger.I love Kyle Hamilton so much even though he was such an ass and I 'm lad that th nove is his POV.I was able to nderstand him more and believe me I swoon over him and the song he made was really cheesy but at the same time sweet when you read it.

Kyle 's POV made me like Valerie Jensen here but she still annoys me sometimes.Overall I really like his ook, if you intend to writ a contemporary duology that is ute, sexy and easy to read then go for the V is for Virgin.
