Well, I ’ d be mor than honest if I aid that th nove as a slight disappointment for me and I ’ m bummed with how it nded.

After close to three years of being vested in this series, it starts in disappointment for me.

* shakes head in disappointment* ( hide spoiler) ] I woul have considere that Gray is crafty at her WTF twists.

As with the other ooks, the pacing of he trilogy is flawles and the characters all deserve a standing ovation, but when it ’ s all said and done, there was no real magic between Lucas and Bianca, and thes I an remembe is that I was entertained, but not satisfied.

Gray pulls her readers through such an amazing forbidden love story and a fun filled world and despite those WTF moments, I oved every single minute of this much beloved series.I do n't know to know to much about his nove, so I 'll eep this short.Afterlife was an amazin ending to such an amazing world.

Reading other reviews confirms my initial thought that I have better things to do with my time, including but not limited to poking my eyes out, watching paint dry/grass grow, or cleaning my toilet with a toothbrush.

When fate transforms Bianca into a ghostly wraith and turns Lucas into a vampire—the very creature he spent his life hunting—they are left reeling.

A week had been an awesom experience while reading his books and the conclusion of Lucas and Bianca ’ s story fel like only the beginning ( what a cliche I know) of their lives, and I eel so happy for them ( ok, not really because it ’ s sort of tragic).

Ideally, the sibling are something that is left out from the main plots of YA books and I ’ m o happy that they are vita to her and the story…The whole thing about wraith being the soul and vampire being the body was so interesting ... very refreshing coming from a book that I fel shoul be another cliche vampire love story.

And right off the bat, I ad th sinking feeling I was n't going to like the book to much.

nother thing would b to hav the grudge Bianca held against Balthazar.

Literally, in practicall every chapter ( until Balthazar confronts Bianca) Gray mentions something along the lines, " And was n't it Balthazar who lead Lucas to his death? " It almost fel forced.

Ok. "** SPOILERS** owever, my biggest problem with he book wil b to hav the ending.

Lucas trie to pretty much everythin about his mom?

Lucas is mortal and Bianca remains a wraith.

So he says something wack like, " You ca live forever and being remember for eternity by you is all the immortality I need. " Ummm ... what?!

What an wful way to end book.
