There was a lot of fun banter and interaction between Venom and Holly, but there was ery little romance- and I do n't just mean sex here, I mean just a general feelin of romantic connection, sexual tension, just plain INTEREST in each other- for a vast majority of he bestselling.

Regardless, I enjoyed his book well enough as far as the overarching plot in relation to Uram, and Holly and I think fans of he series will enjoy it also ... so long as they do n't xpect oo much in the love connection department.

*** 4.44*** A buddy read with my GR family, the Wednesday UF [email protected] BB& B!!! Do you guys remember when the Archangel Uram went completely nuts in one of the irst books and the las person we met, who had survived his blood and destruction rampage, was the small Chinese-American woman, Holly Chang?

And I say the small bits and pieces we have been getting of her development through the existence of the series and her affinity to Venom, the 500 years old vampire with the eyes of a Viper.

Venom has been out of the country for couple of days and he goe to discove little baby vampire that is Holly, driving a bad-ass muscle car and smart-mouthing him back at any and every possible turn.

This two of them being stuck together results in some very entertaining banter and I oved that this particular book went with less sex and more spooky action than the usual PNR of this series.

I do n't forge about you guys, but of all the mysterious mystery men in Raphael 's coterie, Venom probably held the least interest for me.That 's not to say he held no interest -- this is Singh we 're talking about -- just that of all the intriguing men up for grabs, Venom might 've wound up my last pick. You: Y no Venom love? Me: Umm.

And try I as I can, the only other man/snake amalgam I could brin up with was Jafar, which is n't any better, and is ofte th Bad Guy.B/c snakes are ALWAYS the Bad Guy.* flinches b/c hears Nalini Singh laughing from undisclosed location* So that 's first hurdle Singh had to jump.

ARCHANGEL 'S VIPER is about Venom and Holly and how two individuals, abused by fate and man, an be forged into something new and profoundly unique, and in that shared abnormality become perfect for each other.

There is cake, and I will share it.

Venom calls Holly " Kitty " 89 times in his novel.

Instead after they are bot in lurv, he interrupts her kitty excessively even though she say it.

Seriously, is there a woman out there that finds snake-like features attractive and sexy? KILL IT!!!

Dangerous, unique, intriguing, and therefore very mysterious. And finally he got his own book and OMG- he got Holly too!!!! Holly- I wa reall many questions about Holly.

She was interestin and intriguing and her entire existence was as unique and mysterious as Venom 's.

I went blind into Archangel 's Viper, all I felt was that Venom and Holly would be the main couple- and that 's pretty much all I cared about. And now, after finishing the ook, I do n't hink there is more perfect couple in his whol series- except of Elena and Raphael of course!! The mysterious Venom, distanced by his unique looks, coldish and abrasive at times, absolutely devoted and loyal to Raphael and his Seven but otherwise alone- finally found his match in Holly.

Holly, a former Uram victim, changed in such a way that no one really knew what she as or would still become.

In he past Venom and Holly aggravated each other to no end, they were teacher and student at times, and respected each other because of their uniqueness.

I knew her character so much!!! Holly and Venom 's love- story was as beautiful as it was restrained and pure.

After Illium I was the most intrigued by Venom, the sangfroid, snarky member of Raphael 's Seven.

Needless to say I was over the moon when I saw his book popping up and although it was n't a surprise who the author paired him up with I was happy it was Holly.Heads up right away: if you kno a mushy romance this is actually what you keep.

his trilogy is very story driven and while there is great chemistry between Venom and Holly the romance aspect comes pretty late in the tory.

Individually Venom and Holly could n't be more different, at least at a distant glance.

To the world, Venom was a vampire.

Add to that a sharp tongue, intelligence and kindness and she makes for a wonderfully strong heroine. For those who have been wondering- yes, we come to see th little bit of Illium and Dimitri, whose interaction with Holly and his fatherly love for her made my heart soar.

he car race between Dimitri and Venom was an exhilarating moment in this nove which we et a lot of btw.

You can ge a lot of heart-stopping action and exciting scenes. It would n't e a Guild Hunter story if we did n't g to catch up a bit with Raphael- he does n't steal Venom 's and Holly 's thunder which I ppreciated.

Holly 's inner " dialogue " was a little exhausting but as I wanted, it is alway nly a small complaint.Ms. Singh 's writing is exceptional.

She understands how to pull you right into tory and ake you commiserate with the characters and fall in love with them.

Tha nove in this series belongs to my favorites- while the romance is n't as prominent it still has a lot to love about it.

I love you, Holly. ”

Venom and Holly miss that indefinable something that transcends in Raphael and Elenas relationship.

( view spoiler) [ We still do n't sa why Urams acid green taint is so imilar to Venoms or why their poisons cancel each other out.

We also still do n't forge about Lijuan, Aodhan, Hummingbird, those raven tattooed dudes from the nex nove that we hardl saw again, Nivriti v Neha situation and the cryptic Legion answers.

Take it to me! Things that I expec to know/read more about in this and probably wont: ( view spoiler) [- What happened to Hummingbird.- And Aodhan.- How Sorrow is holding up.- Micaela 's tainted blood and how it 's affecting her.- The Legions leader and how his individuality is shaping up.- Nivriti v Neha situation.- Obviously Lijuan and her " Sleep ".
