I as n't expecting his book to be* amazing* because .. well look at he cover.

I like that the uthor did n't rea this in a highbrow manner as some authors tend to do, and he also did n't kee book reall funny either.

Basically the author id a decent job.

I ha n't erribly fond of the uthor 's writing style, finding that I elt like a bored 1950s housewife being regaled at the weekly cocktail party with the eighbor 's running litany of soul-sucking sales stories, as he waited for me to fawn all over him in enraptured delight at his derring-do.

Crucially, after rying to read several in depth non-fiction books and struggling to get finished with them I decided that something light and easy would be worth a try.To my surprise I actually really did enjoy reading anothe ook.

I 'm also visiting Vegas in a few hours, so I figured it ould n't hurt to read up a little on the area.

It 's nice to see the unny side of police work, rather than the negative side.
