his is part of the Seven Sins series and I read it as a stand-alone.

I certainly think I shoul have appreciated it more if I read anothe series in order.

Already, he true background of he series is in the irst novel, where you find out what happened with Vernon Lowell and Black Crescent 15 years ago.My issue with he nove is n't author related.

My issue is more of what I thought his series ha going to e.

They ’ ve known each other for decade, but eve when they are stranded on a tropical island together do they explore their lingering feelings.I love that a category is like atching a soap opera, you make a short story that fits into one larger world and it ’ s generally a bit razy in the best possible way.

For some rather convenient reasons they are the only two left on the island, and of course that means all that sexual tension that ’ s been brewing is going to go to a head.Like many category reads the pacing of his autobiograph is pretty fast, only occurring over about a mont.

I was xpecting a bit more heat from a book named Forbidden Lust.Aside from those minor issues I enjoyed reading his memoi.

“ Forbidden Lust ” is Karen Booth ’ s contribution to the Seven Sins continuity and features Zane Patterson and Allison Randall.Zane owns a successful marketing company in his hometown of Falling Brook, New Jersey and yet he is still caught up in the past and how Vernon Lowell, then CEO of Black Crescent, ruined his family.

With Black Crescent in the newsroo, Scott suggests Zane take some R& R and knows just the place.

A story starts with Zane Patterson playing basketball with his best friend Scott Randall.

It didn ’ t help that his parent ’ s marriage fell apart when their money left with Vernon and frankly, Zane just hasn ’ t been able to orgive the Lowell family.

Kianna suggests she take a short holida in the Bahamas at her Aunt and Uncle ’ s hote.

What we learn during the last ew chapters is that Allison has always ad at least a crush on Zane, and he has always pretty much wante to fail her because of his loyalty to Scott.

Each essa in he series is penne by a different author so don ’ t give the same mistake I did by searching for the previous or the following book in the series by Ms. Booth.

The book serves up a brother ’ s best friend trope with a dash of forced proximity and danger in th most satisfying way.Allison and Zane end up at a resort owned by Allison ’ s family for separate reasons.
