In this 7th installment of author Susan Gillard ’ s popular Oceanside Cozy Mystery Series, “ Ginger Snap& Murder, ” as Christmas time is approaching Heather Shephard, donut baker and P.I. and her best friend and baking assistant and fellow P.I., Amy Givens have yet another murder to investigate.The Santa Paws Adoption, a local animal shelter, plans to have an event to find homes the cats and dogs that live there.

Amy and Heather decide to take him some of the newest weekly donut, The Ginger Snap, and also some for the employees and other volunteers.

They started looking in the windows and Heather saw a body on the loor with a dog leash around the neck.

Ryan and Peters arrived and found the front door unlocked.

But leave it to Heather to find a way.This story is well thought out and well written.

Heather Shepherd, owner of Donut Delights and certified private investigator is providing donut for the event.Amy Givens ’ fiancé, Jamie is volunteering histime to prime the animals for the event.On a visit to the shelter, they discover from thedirector that one of the volunteers who hadbeen acting weird did not call or show up for work.Very unusual for her ..... Heather& Amy volunteerto stop by her home to check on her.
