When Kristin Collier ’ s daughte comes out as trans, they al have questions about what it means for their marriage.

It explores Collier ’ s reaction to those changes and the effect it has on her as th oman.

Really it ’ s th personal preference of Collier and her family.

S the choice of words show how far Collier ’ s knowledge had come throughout this experience.

Housewife may help spouses of trans people, in a ay that Collier couldn ’ t ind books that helped her through the journey.

I feel I was generally disappointed by the subject matter- as a cis woman with a trans partner myself, I was unwilling to read the tal of ope and support.

In a lot of ways this was a hard read.Part of it is imply that as a ga person it 's ifficult to sa the ways people, including Collier herself, invalidated her spouse ( Seda) throughout the course of he bestselling.

There are plenty of older trans folk who still use that in place of " transgender. " But that 's the thing.

So if I anted to specify that Seda is a trans ma, the two words would be separated.
