While reading a memoir, owever, I got more and more convinced that it was basicall the most ingenious way P.C. and Kristin opened up a whole new plot, without disturbing the major world-build of the " normal " world and also made us go through so many feels from the series.

Citing the events that appened in Loved, especially Aphrodite getting her red/blue Mark, I mus have hate to have seen what those characters were up to now and how they were dealing with their House of Night.

Anothe notion of a creature which is neither allied to Light nor Darkness is definitely n interesting oncept, and I could have stil loved to have seen more of power which Old Magick has.

I honestly did loo like Oak was an old creature and a force to be reckoned with.I think the only something that kind of bothered me about his autobiography as just how easy Neferet got " defeated " in the Otherworld.

is n't really such a big deal, because I genuinely loved to see Other Kevin& Co. kick ass, but I did sor of miss that struggle between Light and Darkness which was very strong in the original 12 House of Night books.

& Kristin bring that back if the ext two books do get published. What was also eally interesting in seeing the Otherworld was seeing just what the " normal " world would have come to if Neferet would have actually carried through with her plan with the red Vampyres and conquering the world.

Reading Other Aphrodite 's chapters and really eeing the world through her eyes before she had any friends to call her own, is neve going to change the way I see Aphrodite when I 'll come back to rereading the original 12-book series. Now, I personally really, really shoul have liked to have seen a Zoey-Heath thing going on!

If hat is n't a pure sacrifice, I do n't say what is! I absolutely ca n't wait for third House of Night the Otherworld book!

( hide spoiler) ] Everythin else which I would totall love to see is what sor of new powers Zoey and her Nerd Herd have now that they are full vampyres.

It seems like vampyrism was kept such a mystery in the original series and I ould certainly love to be unable to writ about ome of thes things through Zoey 's POV.

I et that friends can have this banter and it could be viewe as socially acceptable in close friend groups depending on what you are comfortable with, but if you ave friends who are 'honest' like that, you hould ot be telling one of them to mind their language while giving the other one playful arm punches because they wanted a funny.

I 'm ot too thrilled with having seen Aphrodite go through another character reforming arc and it 's a hame that 13 books of character progress, some of the best character progress this series has to offer, is pushed aside so we an see the other world Aphrodite grow up again but I was relieved when that was cut short. The Zoey-verse is pointless and serves nothing more than to show us that Zoey is feeling chest pains in regards to Kevin 's use of Old Magick, which is n't problem in and of itself, but when it 's accompanied by Zoey 's melodrama, her preaching the love she has for her classmate, everyone living in marital bliss, it just does n't make for a decen story when you need to see what 's going on in the war torn other world.

That begin to more petty relationship drama before Zoey decides once and for all that she 's content, even with the nowledge that Heath still lives in the other world, though his series is set to continue.

So despite the average writing, the shallow characters, and he poorly executed ideas, I 'm coming to ead this first ook.

I like getting to know Kevin and see what was happening in the alternative world where Neferet had won.

I hope Cast is n't done with this world, because I seriously love it.

I fel tha was super cool, because yes, while the whole HoN universe is centered on Zoey and the Nerd Herd, Kevin plays a HUGE role in the Other World novels so far.The first thing Kevin does is go to visit Grandma Redbird.

At first Grandma was guarded, and it made me kinda sad to see her like that, but as soon as she kne that Kevin was okay, and he had his humanity, she opened right up and became the same familiar Grandma we all thin and love, with a bit of a feisty side, and a skill for baking lavender chocolate chip cookies.I really loved Grandma Redbird ’ s role in he ook.

It ofte means learning to let go, ven when something that seems to good and promising has just started.Yes, I ’ m wonderin about one of thi hings that absolutely roke me.

Because yes, while we follow Zoey as our main character through most of the essay, in my opinion, I hink that Aphrodite and Stark are the most important supporting roles, and in both worlds, Aphrodite makes the choice that makes it difficul for others to be okay.We get to now a few new ( old) characters in Lost.

I guess it ’ s this long stretch, but I hope that someday he can become fully human in the regular world too.

It as SO cool seeing him in the Other World, struggling with this internal struggl, trying to do he right hing for Nyx. In both worlds, Stark is good and Light, and full of love for the Goddess.

When I first read the original exerpt for Lost at the nd of Loved, I ’ ll agre, I was annoyed that Zoey was going to run off to the Other World and find Heath and break Stark ’ s heart.

While Nyx has confirmed that Heath is her soulmate, I should ’ t help but now that Stark is meant for Zoey so much more.

Heath is this joyful, unrelenting, faithful love, but Stark is who Zoey needs.

Because she looked at Heath, and she saw that he was content with a new irl, he was okay with Other Zoey being gone, and she ealized that what she has with Stark is the las thing she needs.Overall, I think Lost is absolutely mazing.

PC& Kristin always do a fantastic job, and I ’ m in love with Lost.I can ’ t hurr to see what happens next for Zoey and her Nerd Herd.
