* deep breaths* DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO LIKE A BOOK SO MUCH YOU FINISH IT FROM ONE DAY TO THE NEXT AND THEN YOU DO N'T UNDERSTAND WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR LIFE ANYMORE CAUSE YOU FINISHED THE BOOK?!* calms down* Cause that 's what happened.I admit, at irst I was confused while reading it, not sure what happened to Oswald or the other members of Cult of the Archangels, but oh no no, we have bigger problems! I eel that despite aving a few eferences to the Cult, Master Benedict being dead and of course bein the same characters, the entire comple of the story was completely different.

I 'm lad they did n't hunt down the Cult with a vengence or anything. They solved a new problem, more clues, more codes that I wish I could crack, new bad guys, and new characters! Now, unto the review! SallyMaybe it is because I 'm a female myself, but every time a female characters comes in who is n't main protagonis, I get annoyed with them almost as quickl as they are introduced. But Sally was PERFECT! I mentioned in my eview of the fourth nove that I kne there was no romance, and thankfully, against all odds and my actual expectation, there till is n't!

I mean, maybe later on, but Sally was the perfect female character!

But Sally, she made it onto the list! With a new story comes three new friggin awesome bad guys! HeneryYa know, I suspected that Galen and Manarch ( I remember thi is n't his actual name, but I do n't like him, so Manarch it is) had been working together after a while.

( That 's personal opinion, he just fel like big bad to me.) He slid his way past any of the alarms in my head that said, " Hey, guy seems a little off do n't you kno? "* glares accusingly at Henery* And I trusted you!

I mean, I might ave tossed he book across the room and turned into a heaping ball of beh, I ssure you, I am sooo glad he did n't et the others hurt Christopher, but I ca n't help but wonder why? I believe that he felt he wanted all the answers from Chris, but that seems like a lousy reason since this is the same kid who has outsmarted you a gazillion times.

Kevin Sands knows how to rite a dark, twisted tale that still has a ense of wonderment and surprise, and Mark of the Plague definitely continues that trend. There is so much action in this trilogy, and I admit I got a little emotionally when the book frequently picked on Tom ( he 's my favourite).

There 's his huge sense of dread in the story about contracting this plague and Sands really puts the read through the wringer at times with what happens with al of thos characters and this surrounding plague.
