When Fiona overhears the inept Inspector Nivens, our beloved Inspector Witherspoon 's rival, complaining about Witherspoon and the secret help Witherspoon receives in his cases from his household, led by Mrs. Jeffries, Fiona rushes to our favorite housekeeper for help.Mrs. Jeffries, remembering how her husband loved his mothe, reluctantly agrees and so enlists our favorite constable Barnes in helping her with he case.

Mrs. Goodge quickly overcomes this, but it 's sweet to see her care so much about Mrs. Jeffries.
