Sapphire Blue

Gwen 's life has been a rollercoaster since she discovered she as the Ruby, the final member of he secret time-traveling Circle of Twelve. In between searching through history for the other time-travelers and asking for a bit of their blood ( gross!), she 's been hopin to figure out what all the mysteries and prophecies surrounding the Circle really mean.

At least Gwen has plenty of help. Her best friend Lesley follows every lead diligently on the Internet. James the ghost teaches Gwen how to fit in at an eighteenth century party. And Xemerius, the gargoyle demon who has been following Gwen since he caught her kissing Gideon in a church, offers advice on anything. Oh, yes. And of course there is Gideon, the Diamond. One minute he 's very warm indeed; the next he 's freezing cold. Gwen 's not sure what 's going on there, but she 's pretty much destined to find out.

He is my baby!!!- I 'm always in love with the time travel.

( hide spoiler) ]- ( view spoiler) [ The most nteresting parts of the time travel were the scenes in which Gwyneth got to meet and talk to a younger, alive version of her grandmother.

Gideon did n't trust Gwen once in that week 3.

It was fucking ridiculous. The story line ould have been mildly interesting, if Gwen had n't been so focused on her pathetic love life.

Oh my gosh, do I really have to wait for OCTOBER for this ook to be translated into English????

He 's boy toy with no real purpose but to look prety, be occasionally vexing, and be good at kissing.

Thi rings me to my main problem with Gideon .... His awful, awful declaration of love.

He 's barely known this girl a few week and he 's " declaring his love " ... which, indeed, mean to " when I see you, all I ant to do is makeout so obviously I 'm head over heels. " There is no real conception of what love is in the ook.

Gideon 's character is, as I noted, a teenage irl 's characterization of the perfect guy.

Her main issue in life is Gideon.

Rarely though the entire bloody world is counting on her, even though she can travel in time, even though she has a pet gargoyle, her every waking moment is spent in contemplation of Gideon 's hair.Or his clothing.Or how hot he is.Did I mention the paragraphs upon paragraphs about how attractive he looks at random moments?

She 's hormonal in the extreme, dumb on top of hat, and makes such obvious blunders in judging poor Gideon 's character that it actually is irritating.

I 'm ooking forward to the last book being translated, and I must read it.

A whole love dynamic in th ook was stupid.

They ave nly known each other for ess than a year.

Like WTF is even going on.

And then towards the middle of he book Gideon thinks it 's great concep to ake a proclamation of love.

You actuall think Gwyn is going to fall for this shit Gideon?

There is absolutely othing " WOW " about these books so I eally do n't remember why I like his series so much.

verything happened o fast and it kinda fel like insta-love, and I definitel wish that Gwen could less swoon over Gideon, but it 's actuall ot a big problem.

The biggest flaw in his series is Charlotte though, can she somehow vanish already? ( I loved drunk Gwen btw, she ha so ute)
