The memoir is actually told from two different girls' P.O.V., thus making them both heroines in tis lovely story.ELOISEI did n't care so much for her.

I disliked her well enough, but she 's certainly one of my favourit characters.

Yet, she was hardly a pretty intricate character, but reall had room for improvement.JOI loved Jo!

She was xciting and emotional.

Honesly, I 'd like a sequel just so I writ my of her tal.

I hought he seemed pretty cute, but overall I just ha n't feeling it.

He was from a different world, sure, but, um, overall I think Harvey overdid this point.

Sure, he had his good points, and I love him for it, but as a general rule…not so much.

DEVINDevin was sweet and I absolutely felt how he stayed a part of anothe story!

This un, layered character who I really enjoyed reading about.

You should read other reviews or probably even guess, but I wo n't e the one to tell you, because that 's part of un! ELOISE 'S ROMANCESweet, if a bit underwritten.

Anothe big moment was sweet, but when I was reading it I ctually thought about how incredible it was.

I genuinel did n't like ome of his writing, and anothe is just one example.

It maybe was n't necessary.Okay, but in general, I appreciated th writing.

Harvey has a retty writing style that I certainl like.

While a bit too redictable for my taste, it was still fine.

It was n't random or odd; it really fit and I 'm sure Harvey did a fair bit of thinking before she decided to end it the way.

It was n't my avorite, perhaps, but it was nevertheless a fairl good choice for an ending.

As it turns out, Eloise ’ s aunt Antonia was married to the King of Faery, Lord Strahan, and Strahan wants to lure Antonia back to world of Faery with Eloise as bait.

Again, Eloise gets captured and it ’ s up to her friends to try to save her.Stolen Away is told from alternating point of views between Eloise and Jo. Although I found both girls to be fascinating, their voices were very specific and I found it a bit confusing sometimes.

After they actually et to understan each other, the romance grew on me a lot les.

Her story follows how she ’ s rapped in Strahan ’ s Faery Rath and how she pull out about the Faery world and her daughter ’ s part in it.

Through Eloise ’ s point of view, the reader finds out most of the mythology in ook.

Like Jo, Eloise had a romance, but hers was much briefer.

This ending of Stolen Away, while finishing the actual conflict of he tory, wante to need more.

Review courtesy of All Things Urban FantasyEven though I haven ’ t been technically a young adult for more than a decade, I writ a lot of YA, like 100+ titles a year.

eally short ( 288 pages) and it eels like it.

A entir thing made Jo seem needy and desperate—not to mention incredibly stupid—not characteristics I enjoy in a heroine. The main plot about Eloise getting trapped in Faery, escaping, and then mounting her own rescue operation felt tedious despite how quickly everything happened.

I think Harvey may have tried a little bit too hard to be hilarious, and her characters ended up being quite annoying.

Ultimately, you are undressed to our eyes. " And again later when he cared her on oof and she " squawked like a chicken being plucked bald. " Again, I felt Harvey tried a little too hard to be clever here. But I did like he story itself.

Most book, there 'll be two best friends, and therefore a) The main character starts seeing faeries, vamps, or other fantasy stuff, and later she starts keeping secrets from her BFF, and they g into arguments& start moving apart, then the BFF is hardly in he novel.

Eloise starts seeing strange stuff, and straight away she tells her best friends, and while at first they hardly believe it, they still help, and immediately they believe completely as well.Another thing I love?

Anothe guy loves one of them, they do n't ven think, and they do n't love him back. " o then Eloise meets a guy, and Devin does n't act weird when when he 's is around.

** Thank-you to Bloomsbury Australia for providing me with a copy of this to read and review!** Stolen Away is yet another brilliant tale by author Alyxandra Harvey that explores the world of Faerie in a quick, fun and modern setting! I love Alyxandra Harvey ’ s ooks and his one is no exception.

In Stolen Away, Harvey delves into he world of the Fae in a tal that is excitin and romantic.

Personally, I might have iked a bit more world building and at times I did feel as though parts of story were rushed, but I ’ m taking into consideration that this is a stand alone novel when I look at thi.
