Another book started good, with Alex Kelley arriving in New York, where years ago her mother was urdered and she abruptly together with her sister 's best friend Ava left without telling anyone.

uddenly the story turned new adult, with Alex being attracted to Greer and jealous of other me.

Presentl, for some readers is this fine, they do this and like reading stories with lots of passion and sex.

I tried a mystery story with magic elements, but I just ould n't keep my interest on the same level after around 31% of novel.

The Amulet Thief is just not for me, I like urban fantasy, but thi story just never turned out to hav as excitin as I oped it to be.

Ironically, the ore I read, the ore I grew tire with Alex as she continually put herself in stupid situations- for the sake of plot.
